View Full Version : What's for supper?
I need ideas. Something cheap and easy that isn't Hamburger Helper (or Diana, Cab, or Xica :p) The new ones are DISGUSTING IMO.

Try one of those skillet sensations...my local food store has them on sale for $1.99 and when you get some meat to go in it, for maybe $3.....it can feed a family of 4?

How about meatloaf? or hamburgers and fries? maybe spaghetti?
I'm thinking spaghetti. It's just so darned hot and looks like it's going to storm.

yeah its been storming off and on all day here... cooled things off quite a bit here too... thank god... my central air was having a hard time keeping the house cool... but today I was able to open the windows and give it a break... should be able to tomorrow too as the high is suppose to be 69
It's supposed to be 75 here tomorrow. I think it's 98 here right now. And HUMID. Still no rain/storms, but it sure is clouding up good.

I know what you mean about cooking, it is so hot in my apartment right now, and when I cook it makes it double HOT! I don't know what to cook either!

Spaghetti sounds good with garlic "toast". Or you could do like stack a meal, my kids love that. It's rice, ground beef w/seasoning, peas, and cheese and then you just stack it. I think the kids just like to make a mountain out of the food. LOL.
It's POURING.
Anyhoo peas?? *shudder* My kids love rice though.
Let HIM make the fries. That way you don't have to depart your cyber life...you, you..FREAK!! :p ;)
