The US Supreme Court handed down it's decision today on affirmative action in relation to admissions to colleges and universities.

Read this story twice to really get a good grasp because it is sort of confusing at first.

I agree with them. Regardless of how it is done, everyone is discriminated against in some way. If you need to use race as a factor in admissions decisions, then that's what you do. I don't think it's any different than using an essay or a video or asking for a portfolio in deciding candidates. And keep in mind that a portion of all students who are accepted are going to drop out.

It was a joke. My SS went to school with all the races, very diverse and he would say that whenever something went wrong during his day. He had black and other races for friends. I thought it was funny. A reverse look at it but also a take on a very overused saying.
