Janet Downes thinks she has found the secret for a happy marriage: she's marrying herself on her fortieth birthday. The Bellevue, Neb., woman says the wedding ceremony celebrates that she is "happy with herself," and plans to exchange vows with herself in the mirror. The ceremony will include a wedding gown, flowers, a traditional cake, and a choir. (Reuters) ...She also apparently had a hand in planning her wedding night

I love myself, I love me so, I took myself to the picture show. I put my arm around my waist, I got so fresh I slapped my face.

What did she do? Promise herself if she wasn't married by the time she was forty she would marry herself? Now this is weird. You know by this time next year she will divorce herself and then how will she divide herself up? :D :D :D

That makes her her own everything. Not sure what she is gonna do about having a family. She will try to have herself? :eek: Talk about cloning.

Well you know she won't be able to get along with them. LOL She will think she isn't good enough for herself. I can just hear the arguments now. "Is so, is not, is so, is not".

Grounds for the divorce will be Irreconsilable (sp?) differences with herself!

Lol, been done before though. Saw a woman on Oprah years ago that had married herself (chiefly for the wedding cake!). By the time she was on the show though she had met a man and they had plans to marry. I don't think she needed get divorced from herself, but sure would have been a funny case!

well at least she'll get everything in the Divorce settlement.... hope she didn't make herself sign a prenuptial agreement!!! lol

and at least she knows what kind of in-laws shes getting

And I thought same sex marriages were not legal? LOL! How can she marry herself then???
