My daughter had her 4H Archery county competition this evening. If she makes it then she gets to go to district competition next Wednesday where she competes with other 4H kids from all surrounding counties!

She is going to district!!! There were not enough people shooting bare bows (no sights) to make a team so she will be competing by herslef in single bare bow competition. This will be harder for her because it will put a lot more pressure on her. She was ready to cry at one point because she was so nervous and not making the shots like she is used to. There were two other boys there that also really did cry. They put so much pressure on themselves even though we stress the importance of it being fun and to not worry so much. One of the boys is an excellent shot but he could not settle down. So wish her luck for Wednesday as well as the pressure will be a bit greater on her. We only have to be at a place an hour and a half away by 8 in the morning, arghh. Thanks for all the good wishes!
