Ok, here is the deal....A really close friend of mine lost her Husband in a car accident last Thursday morning on June 5th... I went over there this morning to pick up her daughter to take her and my daughter to Tumblers for Cheerleading.... Well, she is already talking about wanting to meet someone and not wanting to spend the rest of her life alone....I can NOT believe this...He hasn't been gone a week yet....Maybe I don't understand, but I just don't think this is right....I would still be grieving not planning to remarry.. Sorry to vent, but had to get it out.....I am just at AWW with what she is doing.....

WOW! That is darn quick! I have never lost a spouse so I don't know what I'd be thinking or feeling...I could only imagine. But I doubt I'd be thinking of another man already! Give her time, it is hard telling what all is going on in her mind right now.

I can't say how she is feeling, but I have several friends who would probably react this way. Some women just can't be alone. And it may just be her way of coping, finding someone else so she can go on with her life. We can't judge people for the way they grieve, everyone is different. Just stand by her and let her grieve in her own way.

Even though I don't agree with the way she is doing things, I will always stick beside her...Thanks for all your input in this, as I guess I never opened myself up to think about the reasons why she would do this...I do have a better understanding now on why.....She is lonely, she does have kids, she is going to struggle now with payments, etc.etc.....No matter what, I will always be there for her..That's what friends are for....

She's greiving and although it sounds strange she is lost right now. Let her say anything that is on her mind and don't judge her. Her mind is going in a hundred directions and some of what you are hearing is her own shock at what has happened and how could he leave her. Her own pain is in finding her way back to herself after being part of another person's life for so long.

Just let her talk. She needs a friend and support.
