"Home Free"

Greyhound Lines will provide free one way transportation between any two points in the continental United States (excluding Alaska) for runaway children returning home through its "Home Free" program, in conjunction with the National Runaway Switchboard.

To receive a free ride home, children between the ages of 12 and 18 should call the National Runaway Switchboard at (800) 621-4000. Upon verification, the center will contact Greyhound to make arrangements for free travel. A runaway may also call a local social service agency, a shelter, or the police, who can also make necessary arrangements through the NRS and Greyhound. Since its inception in 1984, Greyhound Lines' Home Free program has helped return thousands of runaways to their families.

A request for free transportation under this program must be approved through the National Runaway Switchboard at (800) 621-4000.

"Let's Find Them"

Transportation is limited to the continental United States (excluding Alaska) and to the routes of Greyhound Lines, Inc. only.

Organ Transplant Patients

Transportation will be via the routes of Greyhound Lines only and limited to the continental United States (excluding Alaska). The patient and one (1) companion, or the patient traveling alone will be provided round-trip transportation between the transplant patient's hometown and the city in which medical services are to be obtained. (If a patient is traveling accompanied, the patient and his/her companion must travel together for the entire round-trip.)
