my car alarm when wacko yesterday. so we pulled the fuses out.
I went this morning 10am to the service dept at the dealer. He calls the company "Extreme" to repair it. The man comes at 10:20 smelling of beer. I wasn't sure so I took a step closer he took a step back, he was covered in beer, and staggered with me to the car. He looks and tries to fix it. Well he said he needs to replace the modular and will drive it to the shop. I asked him who will drive, he said "Me" and I said are you sure that is a good idea? He said fine I'll call another guy. I go inside they take my car. 2 hours later 12:29 I am pissed I finally found the service manager and asked if he spoke to the "extreme rep" he said yes, I asked did you smell his breath. He smerked and say yeah I know. And that he called "extreme owner" about it. Me I am thinking good he will take care of it. They brought my car back and this guy too smelled of beer. I tried to ignore it, put the kids in the car and told the manager I was leaving but can't believe this. And drove off home.
My husband left with my car to go to his bank and just came home and asked why there is a cigerette butt in my ash try. WTF??
So the dealership called back and swore that he took care of this with "Extreme" and it was not normal policy to allow workers to smoke or be intoxicated or under the influence of anything while working on a customers car.
