I mentioned you, FurgY, because in several threads you've shown pics of clothes that I thought were cute. Most of them I'd buy if I could find them -- for the right price. ;) This question is also for those who have taste similar to ours. I need your help trying to decide what kind of top to wear with a knee length denim skirt. If you wouldn't wear one, that's ok, just help me! :p

The skirt is light denim, but not too light. It's a little bit lighter than this http://www.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=92697&CategoryID=132

I wore it with a tan sweater and tan boots in the winter and that looked ok. I just can't find anything that looks right with it. Or is wearing a skirt that length a "no-no" for this weather? I can't find a top or shoes that look even remotely decent. This is about the length of it:

what about an peasant style blouse? and maybe some sandals that have the laces that go up the leg? that combo sounds cute to me, but that's just my opinion.....

Precious, most peasant tops make me look fat. :( I like that second pic. That's cute and would probably look good with the skirt. Now, what kind of shoes?

rain_cries, that black top is nice and so are the shoes. I'm sure I can find nice pants to wear that with. :) Now I'm tempted to shop. For some reason, dressier shoes look better with this skirt. I tried some similar to the last shoe and it looked bad.

teenap, that sounds cute, too! I don't think I can pull it off, though.

thanks for your help!!
