Everytime I try to delete my temporary internet files, my computer freezes up. Anyone know why and how to fix it? Please? Thanks! :)

the truth is, I don't know. I wish I could help you. There's no reason it should freeze while you're doing that.

try deleting the files through windows explorer instead of internet explorer

do smaller batches of files at a time

go to windows explorer... go to c:\documents and settings\yourusername\localsettings\temporaryinter netfiles

they should all be in there...delete small batches at a time

you should have an icon for Windows Explorer on your desktop.....

This: go to windows explorer... go to c:\documents and settings\yourusername\localsettings\temporaryinter netfiles

To break down MM's instructions: from win explorer, go to

MY COMPUTER

then Local Disk C

then Documents and Settings

find your username

then "Local Settings"

then "temporary internet files"

do a search on your c: for temporary

see what is returned

no but when you do that search there should be a folder thats called temporary internet files
