I'm having a biopsy tomorrow

They found something on my mammogram and ultrasound that they want to check out further. :( I know all the statistics but this is about ME now (that sounds bad, doesn't it?):eek: I know 80% are nothing but I'm freaked out about the other 20% :(

Pray, chant, send vibes, thoughts please?? I can use all the help I can get now.

I went through the exact same thing last year. So I completely understand about worrying yourself silly. Mine was a fibroadenoma, which is nothing to worry about but it didn't stop me from worrying until I got the results in lol. please try not to worry..I know easier said then done but I went through the same situation 2 yrs ago and it was a papilloma which is a small cyst that blocked a gland...it was benign as the doc said most are...I know it is very scary...hugs and prayers to you...you will be fine..

Thank you everyone...the biopsy went OK today, now I have to wait for the results. It will be Friday or Monday.

Never assume the worst. It's the one thing that can drive you insane when you don't know and you have to wait for test results. Most biopsies come back negative for any sort of cancer or other inconvience so just assume that you need to cut back on caffeine and watch the fat in your diet.

If you don't hear anything by Monday, please call your doctor's office. I didn't hear anything and finally called and they said it was just benign tumors and they didn't think they needed to call and let me know that. Hope yours is just something like that. Also had a fibrocystic growth too but it was no danger, they removed both and I don't have bad scars or anything. Have had no problems since. They also told me coffee/caffiene was the culprit for the fibrocystic.
