Has anyone else had problems with them??? Me and my sister got our Vegas photos developed there, with 3 seperate cameras, and we were each missing about prints! She was missing about 4, and I was missing 7 from 1 pack and 3 from the other. They were on disposible cameras, different brands also. I know for a fact I wound it each time also. My friend took 5 photos of me at the same time, within the span of 3 minutes, and I only got 1 out of those 5. I am almost certain it wasn't the camera because my sisters was the same and hers was a different brand!! I called and they said their machine removes ones that don't come out or arn't clear- well, I had a bunch of fuzzy ones in my package from a restraunt we ate it that you can't see at all! I'm not sure if I'm more upset that I have few pictures from Vegas and Valentines day or if I'm angry that this happened, but I'm never getting photos at Walmart done again! this happened last year with my Riverside photos only my film didn't come out at all, they said it was never used, but I know for a fact it was because I took it out of my camera when I arrived at Walmart!!! I thought it was an honest mistake but now I'm pi$$ed!!  :(

I had that happen to me also at Wal-Mart...and several times, the prints were quite clear in the negative and they weren't in the printed package...I majorly complained and got the whole set free. But I've been getting them developed at one of the Walgreens here and they have done an excellent job so far...the developing is way better.

I had anniversary photos developed at Sam's Club (same company as wal-mart, I think) and DH took two photos of me in a sexy robe in front of the fireplace and those two photo's were missing... Someday, I'll see them online...LOL

Doubtful... but possible... at any rate, Wal-mart selectively omits what it deems 'inappropriate', claiming they are a 'family business'... if you know those kinds of pictures are on the film (even as innocent as yours are) you have to send them through mail order places, who will do everything up to 'sexual acts w/ another person/animal' (that's exactly what they said to me too, so I can only imagine the kind of pictures they get sent in). I took some nudes of my husband the year we got married, it actually was by accident, he was holding my cat but he was naked and I was taking pictures of the cat. Wal-mart THREW THE WHOLE ROLl AWAY! So I called around, and almost everyone does this, except the 'mail order' ppl.

Oh they weren't indecent... It was just a silky robe and I was completely covered... nothing showed at all....
Edited to add: they were on the photo disk that I ordered and not deleted off of that.

almost all photlabs do this, remove prints that don't come out, and will not charge you for the ones that don't.
as someone who has done some things where the pics that's don't "come out" are exactly the ones im looking for....be sure when you go in to the photo lab, you want ALL PRINTS, even the ones that do not appear to be properly processed or exposed.

I'm just so steamed about it, these pics wern't anything wrong, just photos of me sitting in a restraunt, I got one, but the 4 that were taken at the same time are gone! I can understand they remove bad prints, but I got some that didn't show up in my package, and those were not removed!!!
Okay, just looked at the negs, havn't bothered to take them out yet, and one of them is all fuzzy and blah, but some of them are cut , like you can see the bottom of the table of where I'm sitting but someone cut it off, I can tell it's the table though because the only restraunt one I got is the same. I'm not pointing fingers or saying I'm 100% right, but I think someone has been purposly messing with my negatives and my photos to be exact. I mean, why get one and not the other 4, and then my negatives are all chopped up, my restraunt ones are the ones that were hacked off, because the order of the pictures of the other negatives, I can tell which the negatives are in order of my day. It just doesn't make sense to me, and I'm angry! I think I'm going to complain to Walmart, won't do me much good, because these are memories that can NOT be replaced no matter what, they can't give me my pictures I don't want money back, I want my prints :(. Even if they gave me free processing for next time, there isn't going to be a next time, I'm going to Costco.

Ok, I just sent Walmart a letter from their website since they don't answer letters from planet feedback, I did however use them to get a nice letter layout. What do you guys think of it?
I would like to bring your attention a complaint I have about the photo lab experience at your store, located at 170 Town Center Pkwy; Santee, CA . I am extremely upset about this, and I hope you are able to resolve this situation.
I recently got photos developed at your store and was not at all pleased. I had two disposible cameras and my sister had one. Hers was a Kodak camera and mine were Fuji. When the pictures were picked up, out of 27 prints I had 20 in one package and 24 in the other, my sister was also missing 4. I called the photo lab as soon as I returned home and found this, and the person in charge told me your machine removes the prints that don't come out, look fuzzy, or arn't able to be seen. I find this odd since I got a bunch of photos that were fuzzy and one was almost black. I had 5 photos taken of me in the same place one right after the other, I only got one of those. The lighting never changed, and I know for a fact that the camera was wound. Of the 5 photos, I got 1 back, and the negatives from them are cut off. What I also find odd is that the negative was cut to high, and I can see a portion of the table I was sitting at when the photo was taken. My sisters negatives were not cut, and the places of the photos that didn't come out where just empty. I am not going to let the cameras be the blame of this either, because other people I know have had similar problems with your photo lab, including my sister.
I seriously doubt that I will ever use your store for photo processing again, and I will urge everyone I know to steer clear from there as well. I will now go to Costco or Target to get my pictures developed, and while I'm there I will probably shop there instead of your store. In the past, quite frankly, I've been very satisfied with you. I usually visit 6-10 times per month. I usually spend $51-$80.
Here's what I'd like to see Wal-Mart do about this: I would like an explanation as to why someone has been messing with the negatives to MY photos. In case you are wondering, in no way were these offensive or sexual photos, just photos of me, a 17 year old girl sitting at a table at Planet Hollywood on a Las Vegas trip I will never get to go on again, that I now do not have memories of. My valentines day memories are now lost too. Nothing you can do to try and fix this situation will be able to replace those photos, not even free prints. I don't think this situation can be resolved, but I want an explanation to this problem.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

even though they are expensive, Ritz has the best developing I've ever seen, every pic comes out looking like a profesional took it, crystal clear

OMG! I thought I was the only one! I took 7 rolls of film to them for the overnight developing (too cheap for the one hour my mistake) First, they lost them. Then when they finally found them and gave them to me I got 20 pictures total (10 and 10 dups) out of all 7 rolls. I know my camera is fine and I asked them to do them again (I raise a lot of Cain) and they did and gave me all of the prints, but they had underexposed all of the negatives and cut them in all the wrong places. I will never go there again! :o  Let me know how it turns out!

I had a roll of film ruined by someone in the hosp. when I had my DD in 1999. My mother took pics of me on the OR table while she was being born and pics of DD immediately after that. Then later when I had recovered enough, I changed the roll of film in the camera. (I have been doing that on my own for over 30 years with all kinds of cameras since my dad was in the camera business and he taught me.) I had the camera on my nightstand and it is the type that you can't just bump it accidentally for the door to open. Someone had to have fiddled with it. I didn't realize the film had been exposed to light and ruined and so kept taking pictures. I had pics of DD wearing the outfit I was brought home from the hosp. in, pics of her first bath at home, pics of her sleeping in her crib, just about everything from that first month. I then took the film in to a local grocery store to be developed. 2 days later I went back only to be insulted by them telling me that there wasn't any pictures on the film and that I was too incompetent to know what I was doing. This coming from some teenager that had probably never changed film in his life. I was in tears, all those pictures lost and could never be recreated. Needless to say I have never had any more film done there. I don't care how good of a deal they have, I won't do it.
I know this isn't the same thing as everybody else is talking about, but it still burns me up to be treated like that. I didn't complain to the Mgr. because I was in shock and too angry at the time and when I calmed down I realized it wouldn't change anything anyway.
