View Full Version : i thought it was almost summer...?
we went to a pig roast this evening i got soaked a couple times(didn't bring any jackets or umbrellas cause we didn't think wed need them) and about froze my butt off! it was soooo cold and windy and all i had to eat was some cold mac and cheese, cold corn on the cob, and some kinda strawberry cake thing but it was mixed up instead of just a piece and it was nasty! plus if you needed to go to the bathroom all there was was an outhouse and guess who just HAD to go????

I don't know which is worse. We are burning up here in La. and in a drought. The last few days it has been in the upper 90's. The poor dogs tongues are hanging out.

Yep, yesterday it was over 100 degrees here. I would have killed for some of that rain! Sorry your party got rained out though:( Sounds like it would have been fun otherwise.

It has been raining here in RI for almost the last 2 1/2 weeks. My poor flowers are drowning and my veggies in the garden are floating away.

Here too on Cape Cod. The grass seed we put out is floating away and so are my poor little pansies!
We are having a nor'easter I guess. Well, I am glad it isn't winter because of the 2 inches of rain we are getting, we would end up with 2 feet of snow!!

We're in the 80+ degrees. And loads of wind. Neighbors tried to put up a canopy for a cookout and the wind got the best of it.
