I just recently got into e-bay auctions, I won an auction for a little b&w bettle bug remote control car. I won it for like 2.00, shipping was like 13.00....I guess I overlooked it but says I have to pay online. I dont have paypal or any of that...now I am in trouble...What can I do....help me, this has me worried to death....

Contact the seller, maybe you can workout payment arrangements.

I agree with Marina, tell them what happened and perhaps they will let you make alternate arrangements. You also might want to contact EBay too and let them know what happened. That way if they complain, EBay will have your side. Also, I believe on EBay, you have to not pay for 3 or more auctions to get kicked off, so if you don't pay for this one it's not the end of the world. And one last thought, you could go get one of those Simon gift cards that work like credit cards and use it for online payment. :)

It is the sellers that are telling me it has to be online payment....

I know, but try explaining your situation, you are new, made a mistake, etc. If they still insist on online payment then you have 2 choices, don't pay or find a way to pay. If you have a Simon Mall near you, just go buy a $15 gift card and use it like a credit card and pay for the item. That's all I can think of right now, hope it helps :)

What you could do is to go and get a prepaid credit card and open a PAYPAL account. When you open the the on line acct you need to add a credit card # use the one from the prepaid card and send them (the seller) their payment. Keep the prepaid card..If you should want to use it again all you have to do is add to the card. There is no fee to open a pay pal acct. And if you ever need it again you have am acct.
Try not to use BidPay they charge you for using the acct. Not sure why the seller wants elec. pay only they have to pay for the service..Good luck

Thats if you "verify" your account and then put $200 into it. Or at least thats the way I read it.

I am glad you got it worked out. I messed up that way a few times too.

Paypal gave me the $5, but that was a year ago. I used a cc to open it, but never put any money in it. The only way I get money in there is from surveys. Maybe they have changed since then, I hope not. That would stink.

OP glad they listened and you worked it out!!

NCgranny, what did they make you do? Are they going to let you send a payment? Just curious, because allot of people on eBay are getting down right mean anymore.
