Oh yeah we live in a GREAT neighborhood... Today was just another exciting day... apparently this has really all been going on for over a month but me and DH keep to ourselves for the most part so we didn't notice but boy did we notice today.
About 2 weeks ago, I'd say, the new neighbors started doing odd things: working on their vehicles at oh say 1 or 2 or 3 AM, acquired a PITTIE (Gorgeous dog by the way, I should of stole her... they abused her) and just not "normal" behavior. Last week, they put up a really junkie camper, and had the Pittie guarding it. It got the point that if anyone went near the mailboxes, they would come out and yell at us to get lost... well now I know why.
Today our neighborhood was visited by 1/2 a dozen DRUG TASK FORCE AGENTS, THE FBI, THE COUNTY POLICE AND THE STATE TROOPER AND 2 UNDER COVER COPS!! I must admit there are some fine ass DTF Agents around here though! :p According to the land-owners, the sting had been going on for 2 and 1/2 weeks. This all went down at 3 PM, and we saw them arrest the girl and the other 2 guys living there. Rumor is the camper was a Meth Lab. This will be in the paper tomorrow if it's anything big...so I will try to get the link and post it so you can read all about my lovely neighbors.
Stay tuned.

Did you get the dog after they were arrested?

I just love having to deal with tweakers. The funny thing is, they think nobody notices how bizarre they're acting. They might as well put up a neon sign in their yard that says, "People On Crank Live Here".

LAST WEEK ON COPS (5-17)
I SAW MY OLD NEIGHBORHOOD.
THE GUY RAN THROUGH MY OLD YARD TO ANOTHER
HOUSE WHERE THE COPS CAUGHT HIM.
HOW SCARY THOUGH.
BTW... GO GET THE DOG !!

No, I didn't get the Pittie, I think they Animal Shelter may have her... I am going to check and see if they have any new ones.
Nothing on the website about this bust, but I am going to keep checking daily...I am so nosy, I gotta find out what all they had in there. I almost called out of work to see if I could hear/see anything. :D ;) :p

I saw on some show how meth labs can just blow up!!! Course I doubt they were professionals LOL to not let that happen. I'm glad they busted them when they did. Could have been even worse. ((cowgirlie))

Neither of them were that bright...the girl has had a couple of kids taken from her and she was in the Mental Hospital here a couple of times. The guy is just scum... kinda cute though. Bet he looks even cuter to some of the people in prison! :D  :D

NO...Not yet. I figure they took her to the Animal Shelter. I am going to see if I can track her down and even if I can't get her, I am going to play with her and love on her just like I do all the rest of them at the shelter. My big fondness is the Boxers and Pitties. Fell in love with a beautifully marked, gorgeous spirited Boxer mix last weekend... I still want her. :(

A pittie? As in pit bull? Last week a pit bull
attacked a young girl here, she had to have her
arm amputated. If you live in a neighborhood with
kids, don't get a pit bull. Flame me, I don't care,
I firmly believe this.

 Didn't you smell anything? Meth labs have a terrible smell.
erinvictoria- Not flaming but not all pitbulls are like that. Some of the best dogs I've ever seen have been pitbulls.

Ok my weird neighbor just bought a camper trailer and it is parked in his driveway. I wonder if I should go and stick my nose in when the neighborhood is at work today. I could sneak through the back yard and no one would see me. Makes me wonder now!!

That is the really scary thing! As if it is not bad enough that you had druggies in your neighborhood, they could blow the place up! And here in Arkansas, apparently the new thing it to have a travling meth lab. I guess they have the labs set up in the back of the car or trunk or something. How scary!

I'm wondering about our neighbors across the street. Always new vehicles over there. I think they use the garage doors as a "signal". The right door is up all day sometimes. I haven't smelled anything though. From what I've heard, meth smells like fingernail polish remover.

Not gonna flame ya....BUT......Not all pits are like this!!!! They are the most lovable dogs I have had. Pits are dogs just like a Lab is a dog. It's NOT the dogs, its the people who train these dogs that give them the bad rap!!! I have 4 kids all under the age of 10. I had a pit (she was killed by the school bus 2 year ago) Kiara. I NEVER, NEVER feared she would hurt my children!! But I raised her. And I raised her right!!! These people who raise these breeds of dogs and also the Rotties and the Chows to fight are the ones who make these dogs this way. They are not born to eat off arms of children or kill ladies in the halls of apartment buildings. Please don't down these dogs because of the reputation that the OWNERS have given them. Yes the OWNERS are responsible for making dogs mean whether it be a Pittie, a Rottie, a Chow, a lab or even a chihuahua.

I have a pit too and he is the most loveable dog I think I have ever had. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and I never have to worry that he will do anything to them! My 3 year old will sit on his back and he just stays laying there and lets her sit on him.
