Wall flower--I can sympathize with you. I just got over my fifth episode of cellulitis. I have psoriasis on the bottoms of my feet and anytime I have a psoriasis flair up, I get cellulitis. I found out this time that I will almost always get it now when the psoriasis flairs up. Just before Thanksgiving last year, it turned into blood poisoning. I spent 5 days in the hospital because of it. It is nothing to play around with. Follow the doctor's instructions very closely. Take all the medication. If you see red streaks start up your leg, go back to the doctor. It could be the start of blood poisoning. Good luck and sending you quick healing vibes.

P.S. A friend of mine actually thought that cellulitis was an infection in my fat (of which there is a lot). Can you imagine the recovery time from that????;)

I agree. Cellulitis is NOTHING to play around with. Please follow doctors orders exactly. My husband had it in his leg, and was off of work completely for 3 months then, and also in the hospital for 2 weeks, and a round of IV antibiotics at home for an additional 10 days. Take care of yourself. :)

My husband has had it in his foot. Swells up to around 3x the norm and is so sore he cannot walk on it. Last time he had to spend a few days in the hospital for intravenus antiobiotics. Hope yours gets better soon.

(((Wallflower))) I hope that you feel better real soon.

Cab92 I would have had to beat that man over the head with something. I would have complained to the manager of the store at least and made him apologize to me in front of everyone. It would do alot of damage to you if you live in a small town for that crap to
happen.
