a fe wminutes ago i was in the living room and stepped in something in my barefeet! ICK cold wet & squishy. i said what is that and held my foot up for everyone to see.
mom said LOOKS LIKE JELLY
the kids gathered curiously around.
i didnt tell the 3 year old to do this, she would have done it without question.
I didnt tell the middle child, because she is blonde and probably would have done it.
I figured, the oldest, a memeber of the school's gifted & talented program would understand that i was JOKING when I said this.....

and i can't believe it.

i mean, it was on the floor, and my foot (id been walking around without shoes on) what if id been outside and stepped in dogdoo?????
