my mother's day sucked

well i got flowers from my mom which was nice, but after that it went down hill, I bought stuff for my motherinlaw(sewing stuff cuase she likes sewing, and gave her a flower) and she didn't give me anything. (I live with my inlaws if you didnt know) Then my husband. I, and the baby went to eat which I paid for out of our accounts, which is like my dh paying for it, and Ibby crys all through the dinner, he doesn't want to be there, and stops when we go in the car.

in my family we always give gifts to all the the mothers including the inlaws

My MIL and my stepdaughter give me Mothers Day presents. I make sure my DH gives my MIL a present and I give my Mom a present, but I dont give my stepdaughter a present. Its a conbobulated mess. lol.

Then again, my MIl gives EVERYONE presents for Easter, valentines day, whatever catches her fancy.

All mothers should receive something special on Mothers day because they are just that... MOTHERS. Hopefully next year your special day will be better. *hugz*

well, my mothers day.........

last year my husband was gone, he had a 8 month affair. It was really hard, I know that I should have been better cause I had my kids with me, but I was really down because my DH was gone, he always did something special for me, took the family out or did something nice. Anyway, we got through that mess, and he came back home last year in sept. so I was really looking forward to mothers day this year with my DH cause last year I spent it crying without him. Well, he left a month ago, he is lying and cheating again, this time with a 19 year old senior in high school, mind you, he is 30 years old with 2 kids ages 6&9, my oldest daughtr is closer to her age than he is. So this year I spent it miserable again. I had my kids, but was still really depressed about the day because I didn't have him.

anyway, could go on and on, just a bad bad day for me.
Memorial day is coming up, and my family usually cooked out and has a really nice day, but I have to get prepared for that also, all the holidays are going to be hard this year......:(

mine was ok..got the usual hand made cards by the kids from school but that is it :( hubby didn't get me anything said the cake he got last week was enough :rolleyes:

I give my MIL and my grandmother and my hubby's grandmothers something on Mother's Day.I don't give my mom anything,long story.My son is too young to buy me anything so my husband gets me something.Once my son gets old enough we are going to let him get us stuff or make us something.

jasmine ...dear... you really ought to be happy you dont have him. You deserve better .. I've been there girl and I know it hurts. but dont waste any more tears on the guy. Life is too short. Take it from me been there done that and aint going back no more.

My MIL and I hate each other. Even before our blowup she didn't buy me anything for any holiday unless my Hubby told her exactly what to buy.
I bough my Mom a gift certificate for ACMoore. I wanted her to be able to buy something for herself that she will enjoy doing. I had to yell at Hubby to get him of his @ss to buy a flower for MIL. Did I get anything? NO. Not a card or anything. He didn't always used to be this way. He used to be very good to me. I don't expect expensive presents. Just a card would be nice. He did the same at my birthday. I guess I just have to get used to it.
