View Full Version : Prayer request prospective job interview

I was told I am going to be called for a job interview next week by a staff member of high rank by a local non-profit. Please pray that the process goes smoothly, if it is the Lord's will. Please pray, also, that I find some interview clothes to wear there. Also very welcome would be interview reminders, and resume reminders. I have a resume, but would like to make it look better. I`ll be praying for you. Good luck. I hope that you get the job. :) My daughter had to do a resume for school and she found examples on the microsoft site.

Thank you. Promise to post anything helpful I learn along the way on the BBS. (Might be on a different forum, though, to be relevant to the forum.) I really enjoy working with kids (and have a 1 year old), so I feel like it would be an honor to have the job. OK, I really could use a job, but it would be really great to get this specific job.

They tried to call me 2 hours before the actual interviews. I was not able to find day care for my toddler in that amount of time, plus drive down there, and show up suitably attired for an interview. (Honestly, I usually just wear casual clothes at home because toddlers are messy.) They said they would try to schedule me again. Currently reading unemployment guide, and applying elsewhere. Thank you for everyone's prayers. 1:03pm EST
