MODEL SEARCH
Maybe you are interested in becoming a Hippie Skivvies model. Maybe you aren't, but know someone you think should put her hat in the ring. Either way, we're pleased that you have an interest in the Search.

This page is intended to provide you with all of the information you will need if you are interested, but see below for our contact information if there's something we haven't answered for you.

The person referring the winning Contestant receives a gift certificate for $250 worth of Hippie Skivvies products!

The Search is in the format of a contest and is open to all females 18 years or older who are legal residents of the United States, regardless of marital status, race, religion or prior modeling experience.

There is no entry fee of any kind.

While not required, you are strongly encouraged to submit photographs in Hippie Skivvies products. No purchase is necessary to participate in the Model Search.

Some companies hold local, then regional, and finally national contests. They also do the judging themselves. But you've probably gathered already that, just like our products, we're not like everyone else. The way our Search works is this: You send in a minimum of three photos of yourself (front, full-body; rear, full-body; head shot). We will post your photos on our website, along with your first name and where you're from. Then our "viewing audience" will vote on you and other Contestants.

We will use tallied votes as the prime determinant, but it's very important to think about our image when submitting photos. You'll notice we don't have models using an ultra-sexy, pouty look. What we attempt to do with Hippie Skivvies is provide a fresh, youthful, fun look, with a trim body and natural beauty. We will be instructing visitors to our website to rate Contestants based on that "look."

Photos submitted do not need to be taken by a professional photographer, but we do recommend you submit more than the required three. We will select what we believe to be the best three that conform to the needs above and post those for public viewing. Our vote tallying will involve an averaging of scores so those submitting toward the end of the Search are not penalized, but we recommend you submit early.

What does the winning Contestant get? Most importantly, you'll be flown all-expenses-paid for a location shoot and, of course, you'll be paid for that shoot. You will adorn the cover of our 2004 Hippie Skivvies Calendar and get a whole bunch of Hippie Skivvies to take home. We are in contact with other companies who will be donating additional prizes which we will post to the website as the Search progresses, so keep checking back.

All submissions for the Search must be completed by September 30, 2003. Photographs may be submitted either electronically or as regular photographs. If submitted electronically (i.e., as attachment to e-mail), images should be submitted in as large a file size as possible so they may be cropped and sized for uniformity with other Contestants’ photos. Printed photographs submitted become the property of Hippie Skivvies LLC and will not be returned.

A more detailed description of the Search is available on the Rules, Regulations and Release From which you must print, complete and submit to us no matter how you submit your photos. Call or e-mail us with any questions. In the meantime, good luck!
