Any of you ladies actually get to finish an entire can of pop, etc before one of your wonderful little offspring comes and drinks it all up? I swear I dont think I've finished an entire can/glass of anything since Ive had kids!

Now , how many of you thought I was asking about something naughty? hehe :eek: :p

I always get to finish mine.....I taught my children not to drink after anyone..including me.

ok my kids and Hubby! always drink from my pop can, i get so upset that i don't buy pop no more!

NO!!! I HATE cookie gravy!(aka backwash) I refuse to drink ANYTHING with "stuff" in it so they are NOT allowed to drink anything of mine.

LOL!! Does my daughter visit your house??

How about.....getting to finish dinner while it's hot before something gets spilled, dropped, whatever??? I get hotter food thru a drive thru than I do at home!!

LOL What I mean is I get one, open it, maybe get one drink and then its magically all gone! My youngest grabs it up and drinks it when Im not looking. :rolleyes:

No offspring to do that, but I hate it when you have a friend hold a drink and leave for a second then come back to a half empty can!

Eww! No kids (yet) but I don't let ANYONE drink after me, including DH.

I was just thinking this a little bit ago. My mom always said " the best pop of the day is the last can of the day"

I never knew what she was talking about until I had kids & mom is wayyyyy wiser than what I once thought she was..lol

Amen Annie! I have another adult in the house and a 13 year that are after my tablecloth I swear! I just got a beautiful tablecloth and something is always hitting it, I hav washed it every night this week-and eaten cold meals. *sigh*

ha! my mom always had the opposite problem...she would go around and pick up half full cans of pop. drove her nuts because "no one" ever seemed to finish one before opening another! ;)

Ok...... here's one... How many of you ladies with young children get to eat your dinner along with everyone else? What I mean is at the same time... NOT after you have cut up your children's food... I have a 5 year old and he isnt strong enuf to cut up a lot of things so I end up getting served and eating cold food bcuz I cant eat until his food is cut up. Not that I'm really complaining, just observing....

I never used to get a full one however now I tell the kids if you drank all of yours stay away from mine and drink water. As for the food if anyone even touches my plate or my food they had better be eating the rest of it because I am not touching it yuck can't stand that.
