E. All of the above!
Why not, being a star does not strip them of their right to free speech. Only they can decide if their stardom can survive them voicing their opinion. Personally, I could care less what they say, if I want to see a movie or listen to a song, I do not base my decision on whether they are Republican or Democrat or believe in abortion.

Everybody has the right to say what they think or feel according to the first amendment to the Constitution.

They have the right to say anything they want. I think our president said that in his interview. I agree but they should also be ready when others say they don't agree.
I always liked Johnny Carson. He never talked about politics, I'm not sure what party he belonged to. He had views, but never told the public about them or marched for anything openly. He thought entertainment was separate. It can get meshed into what I think about their craft like they should always be liberal and do liberal plays so when they do conservative things I have a hard time separating the work from their personal lives. IMO. just me.
