I don't know if this is an idea but have you thought about pawning everything you have of any value? Most Pawn shops you can either get a loan on everything or you can just sell whatever.

How about one of those check cashing places...they have them here in California. My friend used one before, you write them a check and they advance you money for a fee. Hey it would be worth a try. I am so sorry to hear about your troubles. Will be thinking of you.

Can your husband talk to his employer and 'borrow' against his paycheck? Have a certain amount taken out monthly to repay the $1000? Don't give up. Take care of yourself and remember, as awful as this is, you have your family, and no matter what, that will always be constant. Email me if you need to dump.

How long have you know that you'd lose your home if you didn't come up with the money by a certain time?

If you don't have the money by tomorrow, how long do you have to find another place to live? I hope your hubby can work out a deal with someone to save your home. The chances of it happening are probably slim.

Crap that sucks!!! :D I hope you all can come up with something tomorrow.My DH's employer has let him borrow $$$ before and he took out $100 a week until he had it paid back.Has your hubby asked his employer? I know my DH sure hated to ask for it,but we had no choice at the time.It was an emergency and he had to ask.Of course I know some employers are total jerks and would say no,but it does'nt hurt to try. us 30 days to move,if we want to save the house,we just have
to come up with what we are behind which is $1000 and after we
pay that we will be up to date with our payments.
Keep those good vibes coming and i will update our situation.
Finally we have some hope,im happy :)

Chelle, I'm one of those lurkers who reads everything (especially the V/W), but finally a lot of stuff started to get to me and so I went ahead and signed up.

Well, like a little wannabe I went around trying to make my mark in a couple of the other places, but finally I came over here and looked for you. Actually didn't read your entire saga, just went straight to the end. I am so HAPPY for you!!!!! I really was so worried about you.

I don't know why. Like I said, I've been reading you guys for so ever long (let's just say the year still had all zeroes). I don't always agree with a lot of the politics (I'm more like Machande_Kennels aka Nikki) and I guess that's why I don't post. But I feel like I know so much about all of you.

Chelle, every day and every night look up at the sky and see how beautiful it is. Doesn't matter if it's clear and filled with stars or it's fogged over or it's pouring down rain. It is beautiful. Because you got through this. Trust me, I know the feeling. I've been there oh so many times myself. OH SO MANY TIMES!!!

I too have been reading your plight, bad news, then good news, and maybe bad news again? Oh no! I hope you guys can scaper together enough money for them to get off your backs. At least they are willining to work out a paymnet plan. I think they will once they see how much you guys put down toward the $1000.00. It shows them that you are not backing down on your promise to pay and it shows good faith that you are definaltely serious about paying them. I'm praying for you and your family----
