ISO Recipe Help Pleeze....Pink Fluffy Stuff!

Ooooh, my Mom makes this. She calls it Dumb Broad Salad, because any dumb broad can make it. Except me, I don't know the exact recipe ;)

Honestly I think she just dumps all the stuff together.

Here you go this is my great Grandmother's, She calls it Quick Salad.

1 - 8 oz. Cool Whip
1 - 3 oz. Pkg of Jell-o ( you pick the flavor) (This is good with Pistachio Pudding also)
1 - 20 oz. can sliced pineapple( cut pineapple into chunks.) Drain off the juice.
1 pint Cottage Cheese
1 Cup White Mini Marshmallows
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts(optional)

Dump the dry jell-o into the coolwhip. Stir until really smooth.
then add Cottage Cheese, Pineapple, Marshmallows & walnuts.

Mix all together good. Then keep in the Refrigerator until ready to serve.

You can also add 1 cup of coconut if you choose.

I was just going to ask if that was the recipe. The cottage cheese threw me because the one I knew about didn't have cottage cheese. It had cool whip.

I've always made it with Pistacio mix...I'll have to try it with another flavor..

It is made with Jell-O Pudding or just Jell-O.

I have used the following Jell-o flavors:
Peach, Lime, Pineapple, Strawberry, Strawberry-Banana, Black Cherry

Hey, my grandma has made this for years, but always used cream cheese instead of cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is icky, IMO. Just another variation, in case you'r interested.
