worse day of my life

I just can't believe my daddy is gone. My mom called he just fell over dead. I just can't believe it. He is to be creamated tomorrow. He's in Arkansas and I'm in Ky. I can't beleve I'll never get to see him again.I love my daddy so much. I don't know what I will do without him. He was so good. The world lost a prize today.Oh god I want my daddy so bad.

It is hard to deal with a parent passing away, especailly a dad. I know exactly how you are feeling. My dad died from a massive heart attack, he was gone in just a minute. He was up talking and then laid down on the couch and died. It is really a hard thing to deal with. The 1yr. anniversary is coming up and it still seems so unreal. I will be thinking of you and your family and praying for you. I am so sorry for your loss.

that's what happened to my dad they were outside she turned away for a minute and when she turned back he was on the ground.He's had emphysema for years so we figured that would get him so I'm glad it happened this way so he didn't suffer. It was instant .I sure wasn't ready or prepared for this.Guess we never are. I think it's starting to hit more now.I can't stop crying. Came on here to try and get my mind off him but it ain't working.

It is easier knowing that they didn't suffer. That always helps. I was angry at my dad for awhile after he died because I had found out that while he was being a pall bearer at my aunt's funeral that day, he had been having light chest pains. He didn't say anything to anybody until later that afternoon he told my step mother, and he didn't want her to tell us(his kids) because he didn't want us worrying. I was mad because he could have went to the hospital when it first started hurting and maybe they could have done something. I know that when it is our turn to go, then it will happen, but dang it, I just wish he would have tried to get some help. I think my dad knew something was going to happen to him, because about a week before he passed, he was telling me when he died he wanted me to have certain things of his.:(

It is just really sad that you have to go through this, but remember you are not alone. You have all of us at BBS who are here to help you through this very trying time.

I am glad your dad didn't suffer as that would have made it harder on you. I know that it always helps me to just remember what his face looked like and how we always had fun together. I also remember what a wonderful person my father was to everyone. I think it may help you to do the same thing. Just remember the love you guys shared and how much you loved him and how many wonderful memories you have with him. He is your angel now watching over you. Just like my dad is watching over me :)

I am so sorry for your loss...I lost my Dad 4 years ago today so I know how you feel....My Dad fell on a Monday and was unconscious til he died on Friday...He had a brain tumor that ruptured...I will keep you and your family in my prayers...

Just wanted to thank you all for the kind words they really help. I went to Arkansas and we had a small memorial service. It's been a week now and I am still having problems believing this is all real . Thanks so much to you all. I love each and every one of you
