View Full Version : Great Day to check the mail!

I went and checked the mail just a few minutes ago and I was totally shocked! I got my L'Oreal Couleur Experte kit in the mail today and I didn't think I was going to get one! I never received a confirmation email after the contest, nor did I hear anything else, so I naturally assumed I wouldn't be getting one. But I opened the mailbox and there it was! And stuck under that, along with the junk mail and catelogs was my paycheck from jury duty last week! Perfect timing! I've got some great plans for that extra money! WooHoo!

Doesn't jury duty only pay something like five dollars a day? Congrats on your cool mail!

County jury duty in KY pays like $25 or $30 a day....I had to go to Federal jury duty and they pay $40 a day and $.36 a mile round trip (I drove like 47 miles one way to go). For three days work, my paycheck was almost what I made in a weeks time working full time!
