Jaedon just came in from the backyard wet and crying. I thought she had gotten hurt. I asked her what happened and she said the squirrels wouldn't let her give them a bath! I told her that squirrels didn't like to take baths with cold water from the garden hose and she looks at me with the saddest look on her face and says but they're dirty and they don't have a bathtub!:p Sometimes I wonder about this child. She just went back out to feed them some Cheerios.

How sweet. My 3yo Granddot was yelling for me the other day from the bathroom, saying "Gamma, I can't squish the soap!" Lol she had the stool too far away and couldn't reach the soft soap contaner.

That is so cute!

I try to write down some of the funny stuff they say so I can have it for when they are older.

I remember when my 11 year old was about 2 we were eating at my Grandma's house. Grandma is not a cook. She set his food in front of him and he turned to my aunt and said I should have said Chuck E. Cheese please. I thought my aunt was going to choke she was laughing so hard.

Great blackmail for when he is older!:p

She keeps this up and the squirrels are gonna come after us when we go outside. Yesterday she fed them a poundcake I was going to throw away. I think she is trying to make friends with them so she can bathe them. I hope she doesn't get the idea to put them in the ornamental pond. :)

Yep. I love when they are like that. Then, when they are awful and I want to run away I can remember them when they are cute and everything is ok!

BTW-- Love your location. I take Jaedon in with me when I go. She tells them she wants a Venti Mocha Brownie Frappucino. They laugh cause she will let them know if they give her the wrong size! The child is a serious frappucion junkie!:)

Freebiequeen-- Jaedon said to tell Erin hello! She sent her a big envelope of stuff about a week or so ago. I am not sure when you will get it though, my mailman is an idiot!!! Come to find out he wasn't picking up the outgoing mail (we have a community mailbox). He said he didn't know it was his job too! I would like to know what he thought his job was.

Anyway you should be getting it anyday now!

Has she been watching that show America's Funniest Animals? I normally don't watch it but my 4 year old does. When it was on yesterday he was laughing so hard I thought he would pee himself. I looked at the TV and there was this older couple who have tamed a wild squirrel. He lives outside but comes in their home. The wife gives him a bath with a little shower cap on and the hubby allowed
the thing to get something out of the frig. Then he went right back outside.

I don't think she has seen that. I hope she doesn't or it will just give her more ideas (she has enough of her own! ) That does sound cute though. Is that the show on Animal Planet? We watch that sometimes, but haven't ever seen squirrels.
