Ok..I have a missing woozle. What do I do to bring him out? He's been gone for 4 days now. He was in my bedroom 2 days ago but I couldn't find him to catch him.

We've tried food, water, treats, etc.

Machande_Kennels the ferret was uncaged?
How does it deal with the children?
I would be very frighten if it bit the children or myself.
Do ferrets have to have shots like cats and dogs?
I never heard anything good about ferrets so please forgive my questions.

My boyfriend says to try putting chocolate out where you think he might be. That's what he used to coax his out. His was never hiding that long though.

Hope you find him :)

You could try using reverse psychology on him. HEY! It works on my kids! I just say "Don't you go into that room." And within minutes, poof, there they are.:D

Hope ya find the little guy.:)

No recliner or sleeper sofa..but I checked cushions and everything. As far as I know, he couldn't get out.

He actually is an escapee from his cage, yes they need shots, and my woozles are really good with my kids. They can put clothes on them and put them in strollers.

washing machine, clothes dryer, under the couch there is usually some material to hide the springs....might look to see if there is a sag or tear there, behind the fridge, behind the stove, .....am trying to think of all the places a friend of mine has found his ferret when it "escaped."

Did you try leaving the shiny things out for him?
Mine LOVED the individually wrapped chocolate covered cherries. She always came out for those. (no, we didn't give her the chocolate, just the shiny wrappers after she took them out of the box for us! :) LOL)

How about a raisin trail?????????

Did you check on top of your windows? Mine loved to climb up the curtains & watch us from the valance.

Another of her favorite places was the back of the bedroom closet. I still can't figure out how she could fit under the door, but that is typical! :)

Did you crawl under your bed & double check the boxspring or bed frame? WhenI had my waterbed, I had the type with three solid sides with drawers on the long sides & a door at the foot of the bed & nothing underneath the headboard. Trixie would hide in the middle part. I would have to take the drawers out of the bed to get to her.

Did you check underneath your bureaus?

I found Trixie once INSIDE the nightstand! It is one of the ones that doesn't have a bottom, but has two drawers. She crawled in to the bottom drawer from underneath the back of it!! They are clever little things so don't rule out ANY place just because you don't think he could possibly be there!

Last resort - turn off the lights & search for him with a flashlight. You will get a reflection from his eyes.

Do you have any linatone for the dogs? When I had a ferret it went bonkers over it. I would put a little bowl of it out. I bet it wouldn't leave it until it finished it all.
