How do you guys keep up with your trades & stuff? I always try to keep my order reciepts & emails, but I am the worst one to put something up to keep, then never find it again! And after losing all my emails recently, I couldn't even remember all the peeps I was trading with or what the trades were for. I know I need to keep records, but anyone have any suggestions on the esiest way to do it?
TIA

O.k. I don't trade, but I am a guru at record keeping!!! I would invest in file folders or go to an office depot and find a record book of some kind (even a notebook would do) and then just get organized! I would not do a file folder for every peep, but maybe 1 folder per "category" and then paperclip all of the transaction records per person and stick in that category.

Hope that makes sense, just a thought. :)

One of the things I did to keep track of things was set up a free account at Yahoo that is ONLY used for BBS correspondence.

I have a notebook that I use. I write down the person's bbs name, their real name, email addy and physical addy along with what the trade is for and the price. It has saved me TONS of times lol.

I print out all the info and keep it in a folder and mark on it when I sent payment/received payment.

almost every email service I have ever had has different folders you can use. It is easy as pie to create a new folder entitled maybe bbs and keep all correspondence in there along with paypal confirmations. good luck

I do the same as angeleyes...write it all down in a notebook. I also write when I send my end, when I recieve my end, give FB, when they do. It sure helps!

Well, I use a special email addy for it, and had it sorted into folders there, but for some reason, the box was checked to delete it from the server after downloading, and when I reformatted, I forgot to back up my email program. Thanx for the suggestions, and I have notebook for it now, also some file folders, so maybe I can keep up with everything. :)

I have AOL, so I just send it to my filing cabinet and it keeps everything in there that I want to keep.
