Does anyone know how to pay for an aution using a credit card(not paypal)?

It totally depends on what the seller is set up to accept... If they have their own website, they may be able to accept CCs without going through PayPal or a similar service. I would suggest e-mailing the seller and asking them what they can accept. :)
