Born in the remote northern logging town of Greenville, California, and raised in Modesto, California, Marsters always knew he want to be an actor. From his debut as 'Eyeore' in a fourth grade production of "Winnie the Pooh", he went on to study acting at NewYork's prestigious Julliard. He began his professional career in the theater, performing in stage productions including "The Tempest" and the "Red Noses" at Chicago's renowned Goodman Theater. This past summer Marsters revisited the stage, with a starring role in an original play titled "The Why" which was produced by Noah Wyle.

Marsters made his on-screen debut guest-starring on the television series "Northern Exposure". He landed the prominent role of an ill-at-ease priest, which was cast locally in Seattle, soon after moving to the Pacific Northwest. I haven't seen Port Charles for a while - it comes on at 1:35am here so I miss it most of the time. They had a storyline with the same vampire over a year ago and decided to bring him back. I wish they'd finish it and move on. He's not that good-looking. I don't even get to see Buffy much lately. My daughter's only 3 and it scares her. :(

there are some VERY good stories out there !! bout spike hell bout ALL the characters!!..there is a great series bout spike an willow..**it's fantasy...you can play with timelines & character groupings etc** WHEN you find a great story? download the page **ie go to files...click "save page" now..get rid of the "file" folder part KEEP the other thingy that gets downloaded ...then..load up the "YBOOK" and make sure you put the pages you've downloaded in the same file and in proper order) and the "YBOOK" will let you read the text ..on your pc like a paperback book!! it rocks..**this thing works on MANY text books like this..check out the gutenbeerg project!!*

there is a series ..that combines BTVS with Stephen kings "The Stand" it is pretty damned good but unfinished... then there have been combinings of say "highlander" with "BTVS" i mean folks..you got enough reading out there for FREE bout our fave characters..specialy Spike...

just thought you all might like to take a look..

But if they throw an absolute mammoth ton of money, I guess I couldn't turn it down. But I don't think she's really trying to get money or anything. I think she's very honestly done seven years of a lead of an action show, and she's a girl. Fighting in the dirt is not usually what girls want to do every single Friday night of their lives.

Marsters: If they would like it, I'd love that. Hell, yeah. But at the same time, I don't know. The demographics of the show are such that there's a lot of young girls who watch the show, and the most respectable wisdom would say that you would need a young girl to lead in order to make the structure work and the fantasy work for the audience. So they would have to take a big risk by completely changing that and putting up some male character.

They could have Spike and Faith, the Scooby gang (Willow, Xander, Dawn, Anya, etc.) and the slayer hopefuls. Would open up LOTS of episode possibilites, IMO. They could have the Scooby gang fighting the baddies because it's for the good of the world, whereas Spike & Faith would be fighting mainly 'cause they like to kick ass. Could have Faith training the slayer wannabes, too. GAWD, I hope they do SOMETHING with this show instead of dropping it altogether! There are just so many possibilities, not to mention the fact that I would be very unhappy without a weekly James Marsters fix :(

A new character named Caleb, who is a fallen preacher and may be responsible for the destruction of the Council, arrives, as Willow returns from LA along with Faith. Caleb kills one of the Potential Slayers, and seriously injures Xander. Wood, meanwhile, fires Buffy. Caleb will be portrayed by Firefly actor Nathan Fillion.

Caleb tracks down Buffy and defeats her again, and in the battle Xander loses an eye! She takes the defeat badly, and, as Faith leads away the trainee Slayers, the Scoobies and the potentials abandon Buffy and ask Faith to take command...
'Touched' (7.20)
Faith takes command of the Scooby Gang, against the wishes of Spike, and they fight before he leaves to find Buffy. The Scoobs come up with a plan to capture a bringer.

~ 'End of Days' (7.21)
Angel returns to Sunnydale, and him and Buffy kiss in a touching reunion, unfortunately watched by Spike. Caleb, meanwhile, is apparently defeated by Buffy after he leads Faith and the trainee slayers into a trap. Buffy has recovered a hugely powerful weapon.

# 'Chosen' (7.22) [Series Finale] (May 20th)
Sometime in this Whedon-penned episode something will happen to remove Buffy from her permanent place at the head of the series, if plans for a continuation with Eliza Dusku go ahead, although not by a third death, according to Joss. Dushku's Faith will be back by this point. Other spoilers suggest Angel will swing by either for the finale or before it, and there will be some surprise deaths, maybe a Scooby core regular or two.

He has not made any mention of the BBC report of Faith taking over.

Az- Marsters has been signed for the entire season of Angel next year. Speculation is rampant as to what will happen.
Some feel that the prophecy that a vampire with a soul would save the world and become human again as a reward referred to Spike, not Angel as everyone assumed.
Best theory going is that the fire did not kill him but rather consumed the demon portion of him and left him as a human. He will go to L.A. where he will be a thorn in Angels side. In fact he will end up fighting Angel and his Wolfram and Hart group.

BTW- Xander (i can't think of the actors name) is going to be a another show entirely. Some sort of comedy. Allison Hanniga(?) "Willow" is getting married to the acter that plays Wesley on Angel. Anya (Name escapes me) is doing movies. Dashku is signed to a diff show that Joss is not connected with. Sara is doing movies but has said she may do some guest shots on Angel. Giles is doing a BBC show called Manchild and Joss is still talking about a Giles spinoff with him as a ghost hunter in England.
Also Joss is still trying to find someone to do an animated BTVS series.

She was listening to the radio as the rain fell on the window. it had
been a year to the day since they had fought the First & closed
the hellmouth. She had ended up in L.A. working with Angel & co.
still trying to keep the nasties from overrunning the planet. After Sunnyhell had collapsed everyone was shell shocked but there were things that simply had to be done. Everyone helped accomplish these tasks.
Willow's mind was wandering over all that had happened in the
past year. The New Watchers Council had set up headquarters on the East coast. They were now actively seeking every slayer they could find. She remembered
the looks she kept receiving after she had done the spell to activate
the Slayers. Her hair had gone completley white, it had gone back
to normal. All except for one streak in the front center of her
forhead. If she heard one more "Rogue" joke , she just might have to
kill someone. Sighing she turned to look out the window. A year, and
of all the things she missed, the people that had died. Of all the
souls she longed for. The one she missed most was a demon.
~Spike~
He had given his life for the world, ok unlife, but still. She
missed him terribly. They had become good freinds, unknown to
him, she had developed feelings for him that went above and beyond freindship. which shocked her completely. After Tara & Kennedy she had decided that
relationships just were not her game. 1 year..and she still greived
every day, hour, minute for him. "I loved him...and I feel so
completely alone without him here". She wispered to herself as a tear matched the
rain on the window, sliding down her cheek.

Angel watched his redheaded friend in silence. She didn't know he
was there, she was so lost in thought. Clearing his throat "Still greiving for
that childe of mine? i wish he had known how you felt. i think he
felt the same for you.Ii wish he had known what true love was"
sitting down next to willow, he grabed her into a big bear hug..and
held her, as her grief overwhelmed her once again, shedding his own
tears over his lost childe. Together they grieved, as a song
played...

Willow slowly began to sing ..

Angel held Willow, Listening to her heart breath the words of the
song in his ear. listened with his soul and Demon alike, holding her
closer. Trying to sheilding her from the pain.

Sobbing the words, she continued. Voice cracking with her quiet
sobs, singing her pain to the world. To Angel, the one who would
understand it the most.

Standing outside the room, Lorne feels his heart breaking for his
freind. He listens as her heart and soul are laid bare to him. Knowing Angel
must be feeling, hurting every bit as much as Willow. he continues
to listen unable to turn away.

Darling only you are the life among the dead "

Angel listens to willow. Hears her and sends a silent prayer to the
PTB, for his freind. Who he now knows is dying inside. Inch by
bloody inch, he see's her soul drift away a little everyday. He
wonders when she will just float away for good. Kissing on top of her head, as silent tears fall for her soul as well.

Lorne, hearing as much as he can take, begins to pray. As he has
never prayed before. For his 2 freinds, hoping somehow that the PTB
will help their Champions survive the loss of their hearts soul.

Willow jerks as the next verse begins..

"all this time i can't beleive i couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me"

Not knowing who it is singing she slowly lifts her head, glancing
at the radio, as she sings the counter part to the words

"i've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything"

Again she hears a male voice singing the words. Seeming to come from
thin air, Willow stands looking around searching for the voice..

"without a thought, without a voice, without a soul
don't let me die here there must be something more"

she breaths the words, repeatedly, slowly louder and louder..

The room seems to be filling with a calm blue light that slowly
grows by the second!

Angel begins hearing a voice he hasn't heard in over a year..and
pales.standing with willow..."wills?"


Shaking her head towards Angel, she continues singing and a mans
voice is heard singing the words with her, with the radio, with the song..

Turning to where the voice seems to be centralized , Willow watchs
as a figure slowly comes into focus.

Reaching out to her, becoming more solid as they continue to

there was a show that recently "retired" it was called "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". well, there was a character on that series, that was a "bad boy gone good" type. and he looks ALOT like Billy Idol..only cuter..anyway.. i started this thread..cause the man (James Marsters) is a big ole hunk of salty goodness! EYE CANDY all the way!!
*L* thats all this thread is about. oh, and the Character is a Vampire named Spike, he has since migrated to a spinoff show of BTVS called Angel: The Series. and there you have it. 2 sexy male vamps..YOW! David Boreanez (Angel) is a gorgeous "tall , Dark & Handsome " hunk of salty goodness, while the description of Spike is in the 1st paragraph..though might i reiterate.. he is FINE!!! MIGHTY FINE!!
