Woo Hoo-finally

After over 2 years of waiting on hubbys social security disablitly to get approved,we finally got approved in OCT of last year, but yesterday he FINALLY got his 2 years of back pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just spent over half of it on a new car!!! IT is SO nice! We have not had a new car in a few years, we have been driving our 65 nova around and for the past 6 months, we had a 81 caddy that broke down on us on the freeway, so we got rid of that. But we finally have a NEW CAR. well, its not 'new' but its a 96 ford explorer, i have had my eye on it for a few weeks. light blue, with grey leather, all of the options, new tires, miles are under 65000!!!!!! its SO COOL, i had to show it off at my parents house last night after we got it, at 9PM. Im so excited!!!

We have been in the new car all day! its now our baby. Bought nice floor mats, stuff to clean the leather, hubby would sleep in it if I would let him. wait, I think that i should ;) LOL its so nice to have a nice vehicle to drive!!!!
