MY COMPUTER HAS GOTTEN VERY SLOW. IS THERE ANYTHING
I CAN DO THAT CAN MAKE IT FASTER?

clear cache and history can help some. When was the last time that you did a defrag and scandisk? That might help also.

You can try to uninstall some programs you dont use. Hubby and I just installed all the sims extras it slowed our computer down alot. So thats what we did and also what adair said. It helps! Not sure what our cache is but you can also clear your cookies and temprary internet files that helps too.

If you have programs running in the background it can slow things down, I myself need to call Gateway to see how to stop some programs from running in the background it takes my computer 10 minutes to start up and get to my main page.
Check for spyware also.

Nikkole, try going to RUN and type in MSCONFIG and enter. Go to the tab marked STARTUP and you can uncheck items that are there are startup that are not essential.
