hey! have not seen you in awhile! but i am only on sporadically these days...anyway..i do not really reuse...but my hubby does!
He keeps empty egg cartons, and fills them with a mix of lint from the dryer's lint trap and melt old candle wax....he uses these as fire starters when we go canoeing, camping...He melts the wax, adds the old candle wax (you know, when it has burned to the end of the wick)...then he pours it into the empty carton wells....He cuts them into 12 fire starters.

I reuse milk jugs for tea and kool-aid, toilet and paper towel rolls are good for a thousand cub scout projects, paper bags make good waste baskets for the kids rooms, also masks and vests(more cub scout projects) tin cans are good pencil holders and vases, the jars from marshmallow creme make pretty candle holders when you paste leftover tissue paper on them, ah I have a thousand projects for "junk" and I guess ya'll can't tell our family is very active in cub scouts can ya? ;)

Cardboard paper towel/toilet paper tubes are wonderful toys for the lovebird and the gerbil. Doggies LOVE to play with empty plastic pop or water bottles. Plastic grocery bags are used for lining the small trash cans, for cleaning the cat box, and for potty patrol when walking the dogs. We save the cases that the free AOL discs come in, take out the label, or flip it over, and use the cases for our burned movies/music discs. Wine bottles are saved to make oil lamps. Empty plastic film canisters are great for little sewing kits, or vitamin containers for my purse. Hmmm...can't think of any others right now....

Wow, FBH, you have a whole bunch! I reuse my fish tank water to water my plants. My cats also love to play with the paper towel rolls. I also save the cases from aol or whom ever to use for my cd's.

Besides using plastic grocery sacks to line small trash cans, I also use dry cleaning bags for larger trash cans......
