Hey guys and gals please help me out!! My aunt and I have this dilema of the name of a TV show. It is old, but not really old like bradys. It could be 10 years ld. It is about a blond woman who works in construction, I think she is divorced, she has a little girl with blond and curly hair. The TV show's name is probably this woman's name but we cant remember it, It is NOT Cybil.... it is something else. I think she drives a baby blue convertible and then she finds a son she had had many years before...
Anyone remember???
HELP!
TIA

Brett Butler played in "Grace Under Fire" a single mom with two kids - a boy and a girl - and she worked shifts in the oil refinery... I don't remember her "finding a son" but I missed most of the last season ...

Ahh I used to watch that show. .I think it may have been cancelled because of Brett's addiction. Is that right?

Yeah, it was cancelled cause of her addiction. The son, in the show, actually found her, she'd given him up for adoption, 'cause she was a pregnant teenager.

I loved that show! You can still see it on one of the networks early in the morning, like 8:00 or so. Don't remember what channel tho.

Man....I really miss that show. It was "real" if ya know what I mean....single mom, struggling, blah blah....something people could relate to. And she played it well.
