What does this mean? I received some Amazon gift certificates through light speed and I am wanting to order some stuff. Does this mean that I can't order anything thru like target or old navy??

Gift certificates must be redeemed through our Web site, http://www.amazon.com, toward the purchase of products listed in Amazon.com's online catalog and sold by Amazon.com. They cannot be redeemed at Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de or any other Web site operated by Amazon.com, its affiliates, or third-party merchants accessible from our site. Gift certificates are not valid for payment at Amazon.com Auctions or Amazon.com zShops.

TIA for any help:)

In my past experience, only things through Amazon(not Target, Gap, ToysRus or any affiliates)can be applied to the gift certificates. You can play around and add things to your cart and then delete them to see if the gift certificates were allowed. But like I said, I believe things that are Amazon are the only items allowed. HTH. ;)

I talked to Amazon the other night and they said gc for Amazon can only be spent at Amazon, not affiliate stores...
I tried to use my Amazon gc to purchase something from Old Navy...

You can use it at toysrus, because they are part of Amazon. You can use it to buy things sold from Target, Old Navy, etc THROUGH Amazon. For example, go to amazon.com, find what you want, could be clothes or a book (never leaving their site) and then enter your payment info, the gc will work. However, you CAN'T use it if you go DIRECTLY to Target.com or Oldnavy.com because those sites aren't part of Amazon. Am I making any sense here? LOL
