I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I felt that I needed to.
I have worked with this organization for many years and have known them for even longer. They truly do what they say they do and do a terrific job of caring for these animals.
Please read this and pass it on to everyone you know. You will help them just by reading what they have to say. Thanks much everybody.
The Rimrock Wildlife Conservancy, Ltd. is losing its lease on the
property that houses the sanctuary and release sites for many of the animals it helps.
The owners of the property were victims of predatory lending
and now foreclosure is imminent. We need to raise a minimum of $100.000 by January 25 so we can but the property (60 acres with house and barn.) If not, the animals that cannot be placed elsewhere will have to be euthanized.
PLEASE HELP THESE ANIMALS.
All donations are tax deductible. I know economic times are hard, but
whatever you can send would really be appreciated by these animals
and the many more that will come to the Conservancy for help in future years.
If you can't send anything, you can still help. Get this message to as many people as you can. Send it to everyone on your e-mail list or print itand take it to work. Maybe your office is one that does matching grants where they will match the amount raised by you and your co-workers. PLEASE TRY.
We are nearing the eleventh hour.
The Wildlife Conservancy has six licensed and knowledgeable
volunteers on staff. We maintain a sanctuary for unwanted exotic animals, especially endangered animals like Madagascar lemurs that are no longer wanted for display at the major zoos due to age, physical handicaps, special needs,or space constraints. We also are a rescue for exotic "pets".
The Conservancy is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation center. In 2002 we rehabilitated 128 animals of 27 different species. Most of these animals are released on the property leased by the Conservancy. The property we are about to lose. We also do nusiance animal removal and relocation, not only for private individuals but also for the police departments in a four county area.
We do quite a few lectures to schools and civic groups across the
entire state of Wisconsin. These educational presentations are an
experience the students never forget.
The Rimrock Wildlife Conservancy, Ltd. was incorporated in 1988
as a non-profit, non-stock corporation. We have a 501 (3) (c) status with the IRS as a publicly supported schentific, charitable, and educational institution. Our Corporate ID number is RO26375 and our USDA permit number is 35-B-0094.
There are enough natural predators in the world of wildlife.
Please don't let these animals die because of a large predatory lending institution. Please save the Conservancy and its inhabitants.
We thank you, and the animals thank you.
All donations cn be sent to Rimrock Wildlife Conservancy, Ltd.;
E5476 Farber Road; Reedsburg, WI 53959. Further questions can be sent to [email protected] . We will answer as quickly as possible.
