I can't stand it!! I've got this head cold, and my ears are plugged up. I've tried yawning & chewing gum, but they haven't helped, and those are the only things I can remember that are supposed to help. I'm just about to take some more sudafed.
My head is all stuffed up, but its just not loosening up & coming out, and I feel like my head's gonna explode! I've been having occasional light-headedness too. And still the most annoying part is my ears beign plugged, its making me crazy!!

Oh, please tell me there is some way to unplug them!!

This is what my ear dr tells me to do:

hold your nose, close your mouth and blow......should make them pop!

Thanks, they seem a bit better. I think the fact that its seriously windy out & I had to be out for a bit didn't help.

FBH, thanks for the concern. (((hug))) I'm pretty sure its just part of this head cold that we all have here. If it doesn't get any better by wednesday, I'm gonna go in, don't worry. :)

Its almost nap time for the boy, and I think I'm gonna nap with him.

Thanks again!

My daughter does this when we fly because her ears tend to get blocked. Hope you feel better soon. :)

Same here, this works pretty well. I had to use this trick while riding around the mountains Saturday. :) Hope you feel better soon. :)

Thanks....I have been gently putting neosporin at the edge of the canal where it itches and it helps some.

I used to swim and dive a lot. When I got water in my ears I had to shake a leg on the opposite side of the watered ear. And at the same time put my finger in my watered ear and shake my finger like crazy. Worked for me.

nanajoanie, I bet that would be funny to watch! LOL!

Dbackfan, I can sympathize! I have that tickle that feels like its between your ear & throat, so you can't itch it. Driving me crazy!!!

I got to rest for a bit while my son napped, only actually slept for about 20 minutes, though. But I feel better. I also took some advil along with the sudafed. I think that helped too.

Damn, I hope I get better soon!! This sucks!! I need to be better by thursday, because I have some serious work to do. And since I already paid for 2 days of daycare, if we're better I think that I will make friday my son's second day, and get this place cleaned. Since we've all been sick, its like a tornado went through!! I have some serious catching up to do!

~~~get well by thursday~~~
