you said your hubby was deployed..what branch of service? I am a Former US Marine:)

He's in the Army. My Grandpa was a Marine during WWII. Kevin's bestfriend was a Marine during Desert Storm.

He'll be in 6 years the 23rd. He loves it except for the deployments.

i served 4 yrs active and 2 inactive...my dh was in navy

Last time he re-enlisted it was for 6 years. We have 5 left before he has to decide for sure if he wants to stay in. My uncle was in the Navy. I had a family member in every branch except the AF.

i nvr reenlisted...no good reasons too..only reasons NOT to.

He has been promoted really fast or I think he wouldn't have stayed in. Plus, the Army has a college program now called EArmyU that he was accepted into. He'll have his bachelors by the end of next year.
