I knew we were not going to have a lot of money (hardly any) for Christmas this year (much like a lot of people this year) so I went to the Salvation Army and signed us up for toys and a food basket. Well, the other day (the 21st I think)I went down and picked up the stuff. WE got a lot of food but only like 4 toys (2 per kid), but hey I was not going to complain because free is free (as everyone here knows ;) )and I was just happy to get anything. Well tonight a man comes knocking at the door and was like is this so & so's (mine) house? And I was like yea, and he appologized for the inconvienience and said that he was from the Salvation Army and we had got adopted by someone but they forgot to give us our stuff while I was down there, so they brought it to us. And I was like WOW cool great. Guess what they brought in??????
2 brand new huffy bikes (1 for each)
A new outfit for each child
A leappad for my youngest (those are expensive!)
A remote control truck for the oldest (I've seen it in the stores for 60 bucks!)
And like 10 more toys (5 each) that were REEEEEAAAAALLLY nice!
I was so flabergasted I did not know what to say! I thanked them profusely! Now I wanna cry I am so happy :) And I was having a really bad month. I feel so much better :) I guess miracles can happen at Christmas :)
