Who's From Phoenix?

Hey all you Phoenix members! I am attending a workshop/seminar in Phoenix at the beginning of January and I'm wondering about the closest/nice/inexpensive hotel to stay at, where to eat, visit, etc


I'll be in Phoenix Jan 5th - Jan 9th. The workshop is given by The Hyland Bay Company which is located at 4646 Greenway, but not sure about where the workshop will be (will find out soon). This is what I found on their site:

Just saw this post. I'm in Phoenix, but still relatively new here. I don't know how close we are to where you will be, but I work at a weekly rental apt. complex. Not the Ritz, but ok, LOL! 1 bedroom, fully furnished, full kitchen, all utilites, basic cable, local phone service - 190.46 per week, including tax + a 29.00 sec dep. We also rent pots, pans, dishes, linens, Tv's, VCR's & have maid service available.

We're at 27th Ave & Glendale RD

i live in phx and scottsdale is soooooo nice, very expensive, rich ppl town, some ppl call it snottsdale, lol, if you like shopping try the arizona mills mall, or paradise valley mall, i normally dont go on that side of town much since it takes almost an hr to get there, but one weekend we stayed and some resort on princess ave, very nice place just cant remember the name of, anyways hope you enjoy your visit here!
