AND I FEEL BLAH! I HAD ALL KINDS OF STUFF TO DO TODAY,CHRISTMAS SHOPPING AND PACKAGES TO MAIL ,ERRANDS,I DONT EVEN FEEL LIKE GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE IN THIS WEATHER

We were going to mail stuff today but it is raining so hard since 5 am here. Then drizzle all afternoon. Tomorrow is suppose to be rainless but cold. And this is in NC.

It was beautiful here today. I got 2 more packages mailed and I let my son pick out his Christmas present from dh's dad and stepmom.

It was SUNNY here today(thank goodness) we hadnt seen the sun since last Monday. It was foggy all this week and then yesterday it rained all frigging day. Gonna be in the low 60's all weekend :)

Yes...Rainy Rainy and windy too....Still going to get my nails done and head to Walmart for some stocking stuffers, I like the rain....Just not the leaves being blown all over the lawn.

WAHHHH!!! I want rain in my desert !! Of course, the weather lady (yes female!) said it's supposed to rain here possibly starting Sunday thru Tuesday!! (Palm Springs). I hope it's Sunday and not tomorrow! Our little town is have their annual Christmas parade and son is in it!!

The "tree falling" think scares me too...happens in my area also....but the rain itself doesn't...Luckily not in a flood area. Mostly people just don't know how to drive here in Cali when it rains, they just lose their minds...lol. My husband commutes out to Ione area to work though, and that includes some trecherous roads, had him promise to call me when he gets there SAFELY (fingers crossed)

oh ! gosh! it happened last night and i knew it would,our power was out all night,came back on about 4:00 a.m. and the lights are still flickering on and off,

ox_love_ox , i hope your hubby has a safe drive too, and yeah,on the freeways here drivers get a little reckless,out here in the small community people tend to be more careful ,they seen so many incidents

OK, it's Monday and no rain yet in Palm Springs. Just cold and windy. I know it's really not cold compared to the rest of the U.S., but heck, 50-60 degrees when you're used to 80-90, is cold!! And the wind is bringing the cold off of Big Bear snow down here. UCK!! I'd like SOME rain!!

well,,it also happened again that my power has been off and on and also,guess what hubby and i woke up to this morning,a huge i mean huge tree trunk fill off of our huge monterey cypress in our front yard onto the street ,blocking people from going to work this morning,,poor hubby had to go out and start chain sawing it to get it out of the yard,finally i called son in law in a panic (because i did not want anyone coming around the corner and breaking right into the tree trunk) asking son in law if he had flares,as it was still dark outside,,son in law didnt have any but he called road assistant crew and they came right out and helped hubby get the trunck out of the road,what a mess and yikes the wind is picking up again and iam worried about the 6 tall ucaliptus trees behind my house,i worry about them every year that they may fall

THE WIND IS STARTING TO PICK UP THOUGH.

I DIDN'T TAKE THE KIDS TO STORYTIME BECAUSE

It rained all night and it was so windy! Luckily there are no large trees nearby. I would have been afraid of them falling over. It was sunny a few minutes ago, but cloudy again. yuck!

oh! goodness! here we go again,its real quite right now,no rain or wind but weather man says the worst storm is on its way yet,,hmm! i need prayers tonight,, that those 6-100s of foot tall ugs trees are intact,i seen on the news tonight one had fallen on a house and split the house in half and the car parked next to the house,this is really scary,i have never seen it this bad up northern of calif before,they showed on the beaches here that the swells waves brought in huge boulders from the ocean deep and plopped them on the beaches, i have never seen that ever in my 30 years of living here,my gut tells me this is just not right,very scary stuff!

oh! weatherman says the winds well be 50 to 65 mile an hour winds with rain here in northern calif and in other parts of northern calif the winds can get as bad as 75 miles an hour!

WELL,,I MADE THROUGH ANOTHER NIGHT WITH NO TREE FALLEN ON MY HOUSE,BUT TODAY WELL TELL ITS AFTER THE HARD STORM THAT THE GROUND SOFTENS UP AND THE TREES UPROOT THEMSELVES,,I SWEAR MY NERVES ARE SHOT FROM WORRY!
