OK - I need a greenbean casserole recip that's good tasting and easy to do. Any out there? This noncooker appreciates your help!;)
2 cans french green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can Fried onions
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2TBS. milk
1 cup cheese, divided.
Combine beans, soup, salt, pepper, 1/2 can of the onions, and half of the cheese. Add the milk. Put the remaining cheese and onions on top of casserole. Bake at 350* for 45 min. to an hour.

I do the same recipe.......also, you can substitute broccoli for the green beans

i LOVE green bean casseroll, never had it with cheese though....i think im gonna have to try that!

I use a similar recipe, but, I don't add the cheese.

Hey, what kind of cheese?? We do all the same, except for the cheese. It would be a nice change.
I use either cheddar or colby/jack
I've also used Mozzarella, but the first two are the faves.

28-oz. pkg. frozen cut green beans
1 onion, chopped
1 cup roasted red bell pepper strips
1/4 tsp. salt
10-oz. container refrigerated Alfredo sauce
1 2.5-oz. can french fried onions
Combine all ingredients except half of the french fried onions in a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Cover crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours, stirring after 1 hour. Just before serving, heat remaining french fried onions in a small skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir casserole and sprinkle with heated onions. 10 1/2 cup servings

Green Bean Casserole
Serves 6
1 pound green snap beans, cut into 1-1/2 inch lengths
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup general purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
1 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon savory
4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup Jarlsberg or other Swiss-type cheese, grated
1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
Steam beans until just tender. Drain. In a medium saucepan, melt margarine and sauté the onions until tender. Stir in flour. Gradually add milk, stirring until the sauce thickens. Add seasonings. Preheat oven to 350°. Layer beans, egg slices, and sauce in a casserole. In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the casserole. Sprinkle paprika on top. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes. Serve hot.

Spicy Green Bean Casserole
2 cans green beans, drained
1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 t. garlic powder
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1/8 t. cayenne pepper
Velveeta Cheese slices
Durkee fried onions, small can
Mix all ingredients and pour into casserole. Put sliced cheese on top and toss into oven at 350 degrees to bake for 25 minutes. Remove, top with Durkee fried onions, back in oven for 5 minutes to toast

Green Bean Casserole
2 (14-ounce) cans French-style green beans
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
3 green onions, slice
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
Paprika
Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C). Grease a 2-quart casserole dish and set aside.
In saute pan melt butter and add flour, cook and stir for 1 minute over medium heat. Add sour cream and heat. Remove from heat and add salt, pepper, sugar and onions, stirring to mix. Add green beans, gently mixing well and pour into prepared dish. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese bubbles and turns golden brown.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Green Bean Casserole
2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans, drained
1 (15.25 ounce) can white corn, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2 In a large bowl combine green beans, corn, mushroom soup, onion flakes, cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Transfer to a 2 quart casserole dish.
3 Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Sprinkle fried onions on top and bake for a few minutes more, until onions brown.

Green Bean Casserole
2 cn Green beans(16oz)
1 cn Bean sprouts,drained(16oz)
1 cn Cream/celery soup(10.75oz)
1 cn Onion rings,Frnch-fried(3oz)
Instructions:

Mix together green beans, bean sprouts and soup in a greased 2-quart casserole.

Bake in preheated 350'F.
oven 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with onion rings; bake 5 minutes longer, or until onion rings are golden brown.

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
2 1/2 c. bread crumbs2 (3 oz.) cans mushrooms1/2 c. butter (melted)3 cans cut green beans,- drained1/4 tsp. salt1 c. milk1/8 tsp. pepper3 tbsp. chopped onion2 cans cream of mushroom soup,- undiluted1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Toss bread crumbs with butter, turn half the mixture into bottom of prepared pan, spreading evenly. Cover with mushrooms.
Top with beans, sprinkle with salt, pepper and onion. In medium bowl, combine soup and milk mixing well. Pour over beans. Sprinkle evenly with rest of bread cubes and almonds. Bake 30 minutes. 12 servings.

I love green bean casserole...this is the only way I will eat green beans...You know, take something that is naturally healthy then top it with a bunch of junk...LOL...
