Need some help - Christmas Cheer/"Caning" thread

I can't find the thread with the idea for spreading Christmas cheer by anonamously decorating your neighbor's mailboxes with Candy Canes. Becca & I have bought some things to "Cane" some folks this week-end, but I NEED the poem !

Help spread the Christmas Spirit by "hitting" two more of your neighbors! Here's what you need to do to keep the spirit moving.

1. Put together two bags of candy, etc. or whatever you would like to leave at two neighbors' doorsteps.
2. Purchase two plastic candy canes (like the one you see on your mailbox) and tie onto the neighbor's mailboxes that you have hit. Please don't "rehit" a house!
3. Approximately $10.00 will cover two homes.

Have fun! This is a fun and unique way to spread the joy in our neighborhood. The key to this is it's a secret! So, do what you can not to be caught in the act! That makes it all the more fun. If you are the last family to receive a hit this season, we hope you will start up the tradition next season!

I laughed so hard I was crying when I started reading this thread,
Ya'll are too funny.Oh & the other thread from last year was pretty cute too.

I haven't gotten along very well with my neighbors since we've been here,no fighting,just no interaction.I bet this will be a great way to open some doors to a friendlier neighborhood here...thanks for the idea & the giggles!!
