Tonight on the news they mentioned the price of gas could TRIPLE if we go to war.
Thats a real bummer. Yesterday I paid $1.53 a gallon for the 89 octane. I have paid as much as $1.75 a gallon in the last few weeks. Bad news for me. I drive an 8cyl. Chevy Tahoe that is sooooooo thirsty.

What are you paying in your area?

I also heat my house with natural gas and they said along with oil prices there will be HUGE increases there too:(

OH CRAP!! Natural gas again?? :( I'm still paying off 2100.00 from the last time they did this. :(

Gas is 1.39 a gallon here. It went up from 1.19 2 days ago :(

Gas in Vegas is 1.37 a gallon for 89 Octane...went up from 1.32 a couple of days ago, but news said it is supposed to go up another .05 in the next day or two.

The highest I saw it here was $1.75 a gallon...but that was a while ago.

BTW: They said gas would do the same w/the LAST war....didn't then, I don't expect it to this time either.

70 cents per litre in Surrey, British Columbia.
That's $2.80 per gallon if ya don't wanna do the math.:D
Even with the exchange rate that is still a pretty price to pay.

YIKES!!!

$1.27 here in southern Ohio-but that was this morning. The price usually goes down Thursday morning and then sky rockets Thursday night! At least at my usual gas station!

I've got the Chevy 8 banger truck too-and boy does it have an appetite!!

Here's a site that spots gas prices in your area-so maybe you can find the lowest one!

And here's one to tell you some reasons why it's so high ect...

$1.46 for regular unleaded here in IL (metro St. Louis area) Across the river, 3 minutes away, in Missouri it's $1.29 tonight.

As much as we p&m about the price of gas, the United States pays far less per gallon than most other countries. I don't like it, but I just fill up. Doesn't do any good for me to gripe about or worry about something that is totally out of my control. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Alternatives are stay home, take public transportation, call a cab, or walk/bike! :D SOOOOOOOOOO few of us are going to do any of that.
