Saturday I have to provide snacks for the 6 year old co-ed Soccer team my daughter is on. Weekly one parent has to provide a snack or drink during half time, and at the end of the game for the kids a snack or treat.
it seems that grapes are the first snack everytime
and the second snacks comes in big ziploc bag with juice box, a piece of candy(something sweet) and chips or cookies (something to munch on)
I am so sick of the grape idea. and frankly the grapes are sour or don't look to good from what Abby tells me.
need new ideas, for the half time snack- must be a quick one they can enjoy and the after game snack bag.

One that has been a hit for me many times with my different kids at church and whatever: make your own "trail mix." Use whatever you want. Some things I have used in the past: cereal (generic of course :p), pretzels, marshmallows, peanuts, raisins, gummy bears, Mini Ritz, cheese crackers, and popcorn. You can use whatever works for you--just a suggestion! Hope you find an idea that works for your snack! :)

The parents always brought orange slices to my sons soccer games.

My DD's volleyball team loved cut up apples with peanut butter to dip them in. Also Celery Cut into about 4" strips with peanut butter and/or raisins in them. The peanut butter provides alot of protein too.

I can tell you the favorite snack of my DD soccer team and her field hockey team was orange quarters. Each and every game, those things disappear so fast, you wonder if they were ever really there...lol
This is also the best type of snack at half time of a game. Salty snacks make them thirsty and too much liquid could get them sick on the field. Also, water is best before and during a game.
Keep the trail mixes, chips, cookies or whatever until after the game.
As for ours, it usually ranged from oreos to bags of chips for after games.
