I'm always scared someone I love is going to die. I know, pretty depressing, huh! I don't really have any phobias (ie spiders, snakes, heights, etc), I don't like creepy crawlies, but they don't really scare me (unless I'm w/o RAID!)~lol:D Well, I don't like deep water that I can't see through. :)

I'm not overly fond of heights.
I really dislike snakes.
But what really scares me? Hmmmm. I'm thinking. REALLY scares, terrifies, petrifies, paralyzes me?
I don't know. Nothing.

For me it's
Creepy Crawlies - spiders are the worst
Bridges - Hate them especially the old ones with scafolding over the top  I've been over Lake Ponchatrain. It's a 25 mile long bridge. That was awful!! I spent the whole time crouched in the backseat!
Being near water while in a vehicle - which is related to the bridge one but I'm scared to death of going off the road and into water.
Tornadoes - I dream about them all the time but have never actually seen one in person THANK GOD!!! That's rare since I have lived in Tornado Alley all my life.

I hate being alone in my big, dark, house by myself!

Im scared of the dark:rolleyes: enclosed spaces and clowns but what really really scares me is noises. Ya know you wake up to a noise not knowing if you were dreaming it or if you really heard someone walk by your bedroom door. Sometimes I scare myself so bad that I cant move, I just sit/lay there frozen. Its weird:confused:

Probably the scaredest (is that a word? LOL) I've ever been in my whole life was shortly after we moved into our new house. It was late at night and I was home alone and sitting on the living room floor. We didn't have any furniture in there yet. Well I picked up the phone to call my husband to see when he was coming home from work. When I picked up the phone I didn't have a dial tone. I listened and I could hear someone breathing!!! Chills went down my spine and I thought someone was on the extension downstairs!!! I ran straight for the front door. (unlike horror movies where they look around in the dark  ) Then when I was in the doorway I thought, "That breathing sounded familiar" LOL!! Turns out I picked up the phone at the same time a friend of ours was calling before it could ring. He called right back.

I hate being alone at home, but only at night. My hubby worked nights alot this past summer.I was alone with my 5 year old and I was constantly hearing things. And then the dogs would start barking!! I was a "fraidy cat"!! :D But my main scare now...all of these evil, mean people walking the streets these days.I fear for my son's future. That REALLY scares me.:(

I have the irrational fear that someone is going to come in the house while I am sleeping and take my children. It is not unusual for me to get up in the middle of the night to make sure I locked the doors. I also wake up at every little noise.
