help!!!!!!!!!!!! my 6 year old first grade daughters winter concert december 16th is going to be dress like in the 50's i live in iowa and i was wondering if anybody out there has a poodle skirt and shirt that she could borrow cant find them and dont want to give a arm and leg for one for one night for 3 hours please e-mail at [email protected] my name is michelle put 50s in subject thanks!!!!!!!!!

Last year I got a great poodle dress costume at Wal-mart for $10. It was all one piece, and it was not a "real" poodle skirt, but it was really cute anyway. Maybe you could try that, if no one is able to help you.

I'm from Iowa..it all depends where you live on where you can find them. If you tell me where at I can maybe help you.

You might also want to try the Goodwill Store, Salvation Army Store, Used clothing shops, Consignment shops. Good Luck:)

and my mom had suggested to me to wear these things

A. Blue jeans rolled at the bottom, a white collar shirt with sleeves rolled, and a long scarf type thing in the hair and Keds like shoes.

B. Capri pants with Keds like shoes ( no sox ) and a tie in front top.

these are other options that she used to wear to school back in the 50's. so if you cant find a poodle skirt then mabey these will help.
