There was a case in one hospital's Intensive Care ward where patients
always died in the same bed, on Sunday morning, at about 11 a.m.,
regardless of their medical condition.

This puzzled the doctors and some even thought that it had something to do with the supernatural. No one could solve the mystery..... as to why the deaths occurred around 11 a.m. on Sundays. So a world-wide team of experts was assembled to investigate the cause of the incidents.

The next Sunday morning, a few minutes before 11 a.m., all doctors and nurses nervously wait outside the ward to see for themselves what the terrible phenomenon was all about. Some were holding wooden crosses, prayer books and other holy objects to ward off the evil spirits.

Just when the clock struck 11................
Pookie Johnson, the part-time janitor, entered the ward and unplugged
the life support system so that he could use the vacuum cleaner.

Is that true? If it is it's kinda funny but not for the people who died of course.

I couldn't help but chuckle. This is a joke, right.

I would have to say that must be a joke!!! :D
I used to work in a local hospital, doing housekeeping all over, including intensive care.
Number one, they are not usually carpeted.
Most importantly though, “pulling the plug” on somebody’s life support is not as literal as you might think. You don’t just yank on a cord, and there are numerous precautions to make sure something like that doesn’t happen……for instance, it will set off an internal alarm if it is not shut down properly.

Just a FYI…..
Still, it is kind of an interesting mystery and had me guessing.

Its actually an urban legend. I read that about a month or two ago. Though it is not totally false and some people "might" have died like this, as was stated before, there are always a million precautions to take.

Of course it is a joke .. if you read the beginning it says they died regardless of their medical condition. Now why would one be on life support if it wasn't warranted? I just thought it was funny and wanted to share it :)
