ok, hubbies big oscar just died:( and now we have a great big 55 gallon tank that we need to restock.
since it is so big i have talked hubby into letting me put alot of fish in it instead of just one ( the oscars)
anyway what are some pretty fish that we can mix together and have quite of few of?

i wanted to make it a salt water, but that is sooo expensive, so are there jsut as pretty fresh waters that are not as aggressive as oscars? i just hate that we have a 55 gal and had 2 fish in it!! i want alot! ( not too many i know , but more than 2!!)

swordfish are nice. thet are reddish-orange, give live birth and don't get too big. and fancy guppies are playfull, colorfull with big flowing tails, and also give live birth. good luck and just enjoy. angelfish are pretty too but when the female lays her eggs, you need to isolate the males. they eat the eggs - like canniballs at one time we had 14 10 gal. tanks. gave it up when hubby got so sick.:(
