Need some tips for AIM

I just d/l it and I want to show as invisible. When hubby uses the computer he keeps my IMs on and I don't want ppl to think I am ignoring them. I am always invisible on Yahoo, and that is what I would like for AIM, Is this possible???? Or do I have to bring it up. I have my msn off all the time. Andy tips helpful.

I've used aim a long time. I looked and have never seen anything to do with what you want. I think you're going tohave to put an away message up while hubby's on the comp

Have you tried Trillian? It's a combination of them all, you just have one download. You just need a password and a username for each. It has AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and something else. I didn't like it because it kept a record of all my conversations and got used against me. If you don't have that prob, you should like it just fine

I tried it, I missed my smilies and backrounds from yahoo. Thanks for the tip though. :D

yeah...and you have to have trillian to see a lot of the cool things. I missed the simplicity of AIM too

I just tried ICQ. Im trying to get used to it.. The one thing I like about it, is it will let you be invisible too.
